Henare Hona O’Brien, also known as Henry O’Brien, is the founder and director of several internationally active companies:

  • Delivering leadership and performance programs across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Asia, and Indonesia, with projects extending into the Middle East and Europe.

  • Partnering with a leading hotel chain to build new facilities, while advancing ongoing and future projects across the region.

  • Established nearly a decade ago, providing a base for international business operations and supporting cross-border trade and expansion.

Our Story

Specialising in property renovation and redevelopment, acquiring and restoring homes to a high standard and returning them to the market as improved assets.

Alongside these ventures, his companies also manage goods and services exports, from natural products and desirable commodities to classic cars, liquor, and merchandise.

Henare is also the intellectual property holder and developer of a fourth-level learning model based on generative training, learning, and teaching attributes. With more than thirty years in teaching and development, he has worked and trained alongside world leaders in performance and education, and has delivered training within billion-dollar companies including NZ Steel, Reebok, and NASA. His work has also been incorporated into the Harvard Business School and aligned with other leading generative developers. Today, Henare teaches and trains other trainers in this model worldwide.

Drawing on a career that began in professional sport and later in education, Henare has established a reputation for combining discipline, resilience, and practical insight with innovative learning frameworks.

Over more than two decades, he has worked with tens of thousands of people worldwide across organizations, government, and business, delivering measurable results in performance, communication, and leadership.

Henare has been married for more than twenty years and is the father of two grown children.
